Sis. Leah, yes I did make these. Sis Stubby the buttermilk has a hint of lemon in it. The lemon flavor came out more after it had been in the fridge a few days.
I don't think I've ever tasted buttermilk pie either. Maybe you could save us all a lot of trouble and just post a recipe??? They both look delicious. I just made lemon meringue a few days ago, too -- then porked out!!
Those pies look very good! I don't think I've ever tried a buttermilk pie, but I've heard of them. I think I've heard of a buttermilk pecan pie that I would like to try sometime.

I have never heard of buttermilk pie. I think I will look and see if I can find a recipe so I will know what it is.
